Erin Vadala
Social work student and board-certified music therapist
I am a graduate student of clinical social work and a board-certified music therapist utilizing a person and family centered approach. My top priority is to center anti-oppressive values in my work. I have clinical work experience with children with serious and life-threatening illnesses and their families, adults with substance use disorders, children and adults with serious mental illnesses, and neurodivergent children.
After two years providing music therapy in pediatric medical settings, I started my graduate studies to earn my MSW. I am now building clinical social work skills while also gaining macro social work skills in policy, advocacy, and leadership. Ultimately, I am lucky to work with amazing clients, and I am constantly seeking further education and learning in order to provide the best possible care.
